DIY PLEATED PLAID DRESS

Hello There!

Happy Wednesday!Today it's all about this dress which made it into my first makes for 2020 in January. I had this fabric for over 2 years!i know i know lol. When i bought it i wanted to practice matching plaid but for a long time i was so intimidated and never really attempted.Over time the more i looked at the fabric the more i did not like it ha ha!yes that happens y'all.

So at the beginning of this year i suggested to my husband that he should have the fabric and have it made into a tailored jacket as i thought maybe it will work that way but he refused and said if i don't like it for myself why do i want him to have it haha!So yeah i ended up deciding i will just use it because throwing it away was not an option. Even after finishing it up I was still  meh about it. I believed its going to be one of those dresses that I will wear once in a blue moon if ever, to be honest I was thinking of giving it away. Now let me tell you!!!on the day of the 'photoshoot' i FELL IN LOVE with it!i mean look at it (if i can say so myself :-D :-D I guess I just needed time for me to look  at it in a different way,lol
